In a small study from Brazil, researchers put subjects through a simulated public speaking scenario. Subjects noted they experienced less anxiety while speaking in public. Their blood pressure and heart rate confirmed that their statements were true.
Researchers for this study concluded that the CBD helped to reduce the speaker’s anxiety, discomfort, and cognitive impairment during their speech. The group that had the placebo experienced increased discomfort, higher anxiety, and more cognitive impairment.
How Does CBD Work to Help Anxiety?
