Staying fit and active certainly comes at a cost, particularly as we age.

With our long history of providing plant-based support for aches, pains and inflammation, our new Flex Pack was the natural next step.

Several studies have reported that curcumin supplementation can increase exercise performance due to its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, as well as through mitochondrial biogenesis – the process where existing mitochondria self generate new mitochondria. Early clinical data demonstrates that ashwaganda can improve physical performance including strength and VO2 Max. While animal studies have shown that lion’s mane may promote anti-fatigue activity and improve athletic performance with times to exhaustion extended by up to 58%. The same study also showed that lion’s mane increased tissue glycogen, the muscles energy storage, as well as antioxidant activity.

By combining Curcumin with Ashwaganda and Lion’s Mane Mushrooms, we have developed the ultimate combination to support your body’s natural ability for peak performance, as well as its natural response to joint pain and inflammation.

Liposomal Curcumin

Derived from turmeric, this compound is recognized for promoting overall wellness. Research indicates it supports pain relief, helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels, and enhances the body’s natural response to both inflammation and neuroinflammation.

Ashwaganda

One of the key herbs in Ayurvedic medicine, this adaptogen may assist the body in managing stress and potentially enhance memory reaction time.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom

Contains two distinct compounds believed to promote brain cell growth. Research suggests it may enhance memory retention and support neuronal health.

Liposomal Micelle Matrix

The liposomal matrix encases the active ingredients, shielding them from stomach acid to enhance absorption and ensure a gradual release of all ingredients.

Liposomal Curcumin

Curcumin, found in turmeric—the spice responsible for curry’s characteristic yellow color—offers various health benefits, including pain relief, lower blood pressure, and reduced inflammation and neuroinflammation.

Why Liposomal Curcumin?

• Taking curcumin orally may help relieve pain associated with muscle damage
• Curcumin has demonstrated strong direct antioxidant properties
• A 4-week clinical trial revealed that curcumin enhanced memory, cognition, and mood in healthy older adults
• Curcumin has been shown to cross the blood-brain barrier, activate Nrf2 and its related genes, and inhibit NF-κB and inflammatory cytokines, thus helping to reduce neuroinflammation.

Ashwaganda

The ashwagandha plant is a small shrub with yellow flowers, native to India and Southeast Asia.

In Ayurveda, a traditional system of alternative medicine rooted in Indian natural healing principles, ashwagandha is a significant herb.

Ashwagandha is particularly renowned for its stress-reducing properties. It is classified as an adaptogen, a substance that aids the body in managing stress.

Why Ashwaganda?

• Ashwagandha supplements may enhance memory, reaction time, and task performance in specific groups
• Ashwagandha may aid in reducing inflammatory markers in the body
• Ashwagandha could improve physical performance metrics in athletes and healthy adults, including VO2 max and strength
• Ashwagandha may contribute to increased testosterone levels.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom

Lion’s mane mushrooms are large, white, shaggy fungi that resemble a lion’s mane as they grow. They contain bioactive compounds that offer numerous benefits, particularly for the brain, heart, and gut.

Among culinary mushrooms, Hericium erinaceus (commonly known as lion’s mane) is renowned for its therapeutic effects on nerve and brain health. Various compounds isolated from this mushroom, including hericenones from the fruiting bodies and erinacines from the mycelia, have been extensively studied for their ability to promote neurotrophic factors such as nerve growth factor (NGF).

Why Lion’s Mane Mushroom?

• Research has identified two unique compounds in lion’s mane mushrooms—hericenones and erinacines—that can stimulate the growth of brain cells.
• Lion’s mane mushroom and its extracts have demonstrated the ability to reduce memory loss symptoms in mice and protect against neuronal damage caused by amyloid-beta plaques, which accumulate in the brain during Alzheimer’s disease.
• Studies in rats have shown that lion’s mane extract can accelerate recovery from nervous system injuries, though there is a lack of research in humans.
